MakeAbility is a reasearch and educational program for co-creating do-it-yourself assistive technology. With the expertise of the Design For Everyone living lab at Howest, this multi-disciplinairy projects translate hands-on research into educational projects. In teams of occupational therapists, voluntary makers and clients with a assistive design need new assistive devices are developed. One of the outcomes of this project is a post-graduate makerskills wherefore all educational content, roadmaps, templates and demonstraters were developed.
